Project Description
Doncaster’s Forgings, located in Blaenavon near Pontypool in South Wales, is a specialist manufacturer of industrial products in various metals.
A fire to the plant had damaged the internal cladded walls and roof, which required extensive restoration.
LT were tasked with providing a large scaffold birdcage for access to the cladding panels and roof. A weatherproof encapsulation was applied to the roof using a specialist shrink wrap to protect the operational areas of the plant from dust and the elements whilst repair work was underway.
