Made famous when Richard Burton was pictured walking across this majestic former aquaduct in the 1950’s and now an A listed Grade 2 structure, the Bont Fawr Viaduct is one of the few surviving structures relating to the use of water power in the Iron Industry of the region. It’s regarded as being among the finest surviving examples of civil engineering in the early 19th Century in Wales.
LT were appointed for the 2 week accelerated dismantle programme of this large and complicated suspended scaffold structure, which took 3 months to erect in it’s construction phase.
